By enrolling in CLI, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions.
CLI does not accept responsibility for students under the age of 18. All students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Each student must pay the Enrollment Deposit to ensure enrollment. The Enrollment Deposit is US$100 or 10% of the course fee; whichever is more.
Without this payment, CLI cannot guarantee the student’s placement in our program. The Enrollment Deposit is non-refundable and will be credited towards the student’s program tuition upon arrival. More information regarding payment of the Enrollment Deposit will be sent to the student upon completion of the Enrollment Form.
The entire course tuition must be paid at the end of the student’s first day of class in cash. If you chose to pay via PayPal we will add 4% to the payment to cover the transaction costs.
The tuition will not be refunded for any course cancelation by the student. However, if the student must reschedule a class, notice must be given at least 24 hours in advance or the missed class will be charged in full.
A student’s change to start date is subject to a US$40 charge if the change is made within four weeks of the original start date.
CLI does not take responsibility for cancellation of class due to forces out of our control, such as strike action, civil strife, disease outbreak, natural disaster, or severe weather conditions.
CLI reserves the right to change programs, rates, and dates. CLI will notify the student regarding any pertinent changes.
CLI is not liable for any personal accident or illness and/or the theft, loss, or damage of the student’s personal property.
CLI recommends that the student has a secure international health, travel, and emergency evacuation insurance package. Insurance packages are available through CLI.
While CLI strives to provide assistance to the student at all times, CLI is not liable for decisions taken by the local authorities, including any procedures and decisions regarding visas and legal documents.
While studying at CLI, the student may use the CLI library free of charge. Any unreturned material must be paid for at its original value by the student before departure.
Payments to CLI can be made in US Dollars or Dominican Pesos. Payments made in Dominican Pesos will be determined by the local exchange rate to the Dollar.
